Finlay Anderson is from Dumfries and Galloway. He recently joined the Board of Trustees at Partners in Advocacy. Despite being a newcomer in this role, he has a bulk of experience with the organisation, as he benefited from independent advocacy during his early teens through the My Rights, My Say service. Accessing independent advocacy was a significant decision that meaningly transformed his life, steering him in a better direction.
Currently, he is an undergraduate student at the University of St Andrews studying Neuroscience and Psychology. Having volunteered on a regional, national, and international level with a range of third sector organisations, he hopes to continue to advocate for children and young people’s rights, increase disability awareness and amplify the voices of others.
An intriguing little fact about Finlay is that he is a twin. Luckily, He holds the bragging rights to being 1 minute older!
