We asked a few of our new members of staff what it was like joining Partners in Advocacy.

Joining PIA has been the best experience. People are kind, genuine and managers treat us with respect. I am so grateful to be in my role and can’t thank everyone enough. Honestly been one of the most positive work experiences in my young career.

I only have positive comments towards PiA from recruitment onwards. They have demonstrated such great communication and from Day 1 I have been made to feel like I am already part of the team, what a fantastic welcome from managers, admin support to fellow advocacy workers. It is a breath of fresh air, thank you. I am now looking forward to consolidating all what I have learned and put it into practice, and I am excited to get started working with my advocacy partners.

My initial experience of working with PiA is one that is extremely positive. I have felt welcomed and supported from the outset and have never been made feel like any question is insignificant. Everything is gradually clicking into place, and I feel that when the time comes, I will be fully prepared and confident enough to successfully fulfil the role of advocacy worker.
