Partners in Advocacy’s collective advocacy service involves bringing adults with learning disabilities together in informal meetings, to discuss issues of common interest. The topics of conversation are determined by the group members themselves. Smart Talk, a collective advocacy group in East Lothian, meets every second week and promotes awareness of local issues and offers a platform to speak up.
